#11: San Antonio Spurs: Cole Anthony | Point Guard | North Carolina

The Tar Heels were terrible this season, but it wasn’t Cole Anthony’s fault. The savvy point guard did what he could, but the Heels simply didn’t have the talent they are used to having.

Anthony averaged 18.5 points, 5.8 rebounds, and four assists per game, and while he doesn’t excel in any particular statistical category, he shines with leadership.

This is an unfair comparison, but he is the same type of player Tony Parker was in the sense he was more of a floor general than anything else and under the mentorship of the greatest to ever do it, Greg Popovich, Anthony could really hone his skills and be a solid point guard in the NBA for years to come.

He’s not there yet, but his cleverness and unique combination of scoring and selflessness make him a promising prospect.
