#13: New Orleans Pelicans: Aaron Nesmith | Small Forward | Vanderbilt
His name isn’t spelled exactly like that of the inventor of basketball, but still, Aaron Nesmith can flat out ball.
He was a scoring machine for Vanderbilt before he injured his right foot, pouring in 23 points per game on an insane 52.2 percent from behind the arc. That percentage came at a high volume as well, as he launched more than eight 3-point attempts per game.
The only problem with this offensive mindset is that he is a bit of a black hole once he catches it, not unlike TJ Warren.
As prolific of a scorer as he is, he is just okay on defense and is not an aggressive rebounder. Still, his ability to fill it up on offense makes him worthy of a lottery pick and pairing him up with Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, and of course, Zion Williamson in New Orleans could produce some fun-to-watch results.
