#15: Orlando Magic: Josh Green | Shooting Guard | Arizona
Josh Green feels like he is destined to provide bench scoring for 10 different teams in a 12 year NBA career, and that isn’t necessarily a bad thing. He is just a guy who has a lot of tools but hasn’t yet mastered one or two particular ones yet.
He’s a good scorer, although not a great one, as his ability to finish around the rim and consistently knocking down shots from the outside needs to improve if he plans to be a major contributor in the NBA. Still, he finds a way to put points on the scoreboard.
He averaged 12 points per game on a good Arizona squad this season on just 42.2 percent from the field. He was respectable on defense, snagging 1.5 steals per game.
Green is worth the gamble in the middle of the first round by a team like Orlando, but again, improving consistency will be the key for Green to go from, “Meh,” to, “Okay, he’s pretty good.”
