#22: Philadelphia 76ers |  Theo Maledon | Point Guard | France

Like many international NBA prospects, Theo Maledon didn’t play a lot for his club team at a young age, but he is not a bad gamble to take.

By far, Maledon’s best quality is his ability to get to the rim. The kid is just slippery and creative at the same time. He somewhat reminds me of Shai Gilgeous-Alexander in the way he simply weaves into the lane and finishes.

Maledon isn’t a pure shooter, but his form is solid and I would think his 33.3 percent shooting from deep would improve in the NBA over time.

Potential is what you’re drafting on here, and if the 76ers are remotely serious about moving Ben Simmons over to power forward, Maledon would give them a longterm prospect to potentially take the reigns.
