It’s a Twitter joke.
The same aggressive version of the Man of Steal we saw in the exhibition games was back in full force against the 76ers, his hometown team who traded him on draft day.
Thanks for that, by the way.
Bridges finished with 24 points on top of his usual two steals and two blocks on 8/10 shooting in including 3/5 from behind the arc.
When he is playing like that, he is the second-best player on the team and that is not a knock on Ayton. Well, it kind of is. As for Ayton, let’s just stay positive and glass over his game today. If I dished a perfect opinion on the subject, he’d probably drop it anyway.
5. Dario Dunked!
While Booker, Bridges, and rightfully get most post-game praise, it is important to highlight the impact Dario Saric has made in the bubble.
You know what you are going to get with Dario, and because of that, it is easy to take for granted. Against the 76ers, he had another cool 18 points and nine rebounds off the bench. On top of that, he was always the first person to hit the ground to dive for a loose ball, and that kind of attitude is both contagious and exactly what the second unit needs to generate offense and defense.
He even dunked! Who said he can’t jump?
