Phoenix Suns are changing their perception to the basketball world

The Perception of Cameron Johnson
Cam Johnson was mostly known as a draft reach by James Jones. Not anymore.
Cam was starting to find his way in his NBA rookie season the last month before the virus stoppage. He took the time off to add muscle and review his play; coming back a much stronger and athletic version of himself. This has allowed him to step into the starting lineup in place of the injured Kelly Oubre.
Cam Johnson is a 3-point sniper who stretches the floor and provides incredible spacing from the power forward position, however, his rebounding and defense have been a surprise to even the Suns since the bubble play began.
He isn’t playing undersized, banging, and flying around the court with Deandre and Mikal to disrupt all offenses they’ve played. Suns fans have been talking about trades and free agents who can come play next to Deandre, but maybe the Suns already have the stretch-4 and didn’t know it.
Cam Johnson is helping to transform the Phoenix Suns’ offense with his ability to play PF, provide incredible spacing, and yet not giving up too much on the glass.
