3. Keep that ball moving

When the Suns cruised past the Washington Wizards, they racked up 29 assists, two more than their league-leading per-game average. However, when they squeezed out a dramatic comeback win over the Dallas Mavericks, they had just 22 dimes.

In order to beat the Clippers, their assist column must look more like it did against the Wiz than it did against the Mavs. When they won back in October (see, it really was almost a year ago), they had a whopping 32 assists and played fun-to-watch basketball.

They need more of that.

Rubio and Booker need to show why they are the best passing backcourt in the league, but that won’t happen without sharp cuts from Mikal Bridges and sharp-shooting from Cam Johnson. Having these two guys continue to build upon their strong post-hiatus growth will be key for the Suns to remain undefeated in the bubble.
