The Phoenix Suns have another chance to get a big W tonight as they take on the Dallas Mavericks in the Disney bubble.

Here are the top 3 things you can watch for tonight when the Phoenix Suns take on the Dallas Mavericks:

Who guards Luka?

Based on the minutes that were played against the Wizards, I would expect the Phoenix Suns’ Mikal Bridges to spend the majority of the time guarding Luka Doncic, with Cameron Johnson also possibly drawing the tough matchup.

In order to stop the Mavs, they are going to need to keep him from getting too hot. It seems like he is always going to find a way to notch a triple-double no matter who guards him, but if the Suns can force him into an inefficient night, they could get walk back to their dorms with a win.

Deandre Ayton going beast mode

Deandre Ayton was a man among boys in his first game, but that was against a team with what looks like a G-league roster. Having said that, a real case can be made for Rui Hachimura being the current star of the Wizards.

Anyway, Ayton now has the chance to put up more gaudy stats against a team that is prepping themselves for the playoffs, and it will be exciting to see if he can continue his hot start. I’m all for letting him continue to expand his range and launch from deep. The more the better.

Hopefully, he will play with the same fury that led to his season-high in points (31) the last time the Suns played the Mavericks.

Devin Booker, the playmaker

This as close to playoff basketball as Devin Booker has ever been, and there’s a good chance he wants to prove he is right up there with Luka when it comes to making clutch plays. Devin’s never had a problem getting buckets, but in the bubble, I think we see Devin continue to take on the playmaking role, and we will see him getting shots for others as well tonight against the Mavs.

Over six assists for Booker tonight! I’m calling my shot. Way out on a limb here. Forget this if I’m wrong.

The Suns need to keep the momentum going, and a win against a good Mavericks team would be a great way to do it.

Next. Does Ayton's fire to show up Luka still burn?. dark
