#3 Booker at small forward

Wait, what? Maybe because I focused so much on Booker at the point guard position as puzzling, I didn’t even consider moving Booker to the 3. However, the idea is so out-of-the-box, it is borderline intriguing.

First off, he would be undersized for that position. Booker is 6’5″ but so many small forwards these days are pushing 6’8″, so defense would be an immediate concern.

On offense, Booker can score over anyone, so that is less of an issue, but just because he can, why make him score over someone bigger than he is?

And again, who plays the two when Booker is at the three? The Phoenix Suns don’t have a natural backup shooting guard, and the closest guy they had to that will be playing in the playoffs for the Brooklyn Nets in the near future.

So yeah, I think Booker could play the 3 and be successful, but it just seems like an unnecessary position to put him in. Literally.
