Phoenix Suns vs. Philadelphia 76ers | 8-11-2020

Finally, before the Suns end their eight-game stretch against Dallas again, they will play the Philadelphia 76ers. Phoenix already took down Philly once this year and could do it again. The Sixers did not seem to take the Suns seriously until Devin Booker reminded them he is the best young guard in the league once again.

This will be a very difficult night for a relativity small Suns team with guys like Joel Embiid, Tobias Harris, and Ben Simmons all in the starting five. The Suns can’t let the size intimidate them and need to play bigger than they are, and use their hustle and energy to pull out the win.

If you didn’t already guess, this will be another test for the Suns’ young center, and his biggest task yet. Embiid is arguably the best center in the game and a huge trash talker. Being able to hold his own or even outshine Embiid will not only give the Suns bragging rights but would instill confidence that DA is amongst the best centers in the league.

If DevinBooker can continue his hot streak against Philly (he had 40 in their first matchup), and Ayton is aggressive against Embiid, the Suns should be in good hands.

If the Suns play their cards right, we might be able to see them in the play-in tournament and ultimately the playoffs and bring the franchise back to what they once were.
