Phoenix Suns vs. LA Clippers | 8-4-2020

For the third game, Phoenix will take on the LA Clippers. While it seems like a guaranteed loss, the Suns did beat them early on this season. LA was missing Paul George, but the Suns were also missing Ayton and Rubio so it evens out.

One thing that could help the Suns is a hands-town contender for the title like the Clippers may not show up and give 110 percent and treat it more like a tune-up game. That is why the Suns need to come out with their foot on the gas early and play like their lives are on the line.

However, Kawhi Leonard can be unstoppable at times. Leonard can do it all on both ends and it will take the whole team working together to be able to slow him down.

Paul George has been up and down all season, but Bleacher Report naming him as the 2nd best shooting guard of the 2019-2020 NBA season over Devin Booker may give Booker some extra motivation for the big game.

The most intimidating facet of this Clippers team is their bench depth, combining Montrezl Harrell and All-Time Great sixth man Lou Williams with the rest of this team is scary, especially for the Suns’ lackluster bench.

Suns coach Monty Williams hinted none of his players will play big minutes so you wonder how much rest superstars on a contending team will get before the actual playoffs from their coaches.
