Josh Green

Josh Green is a guy who is rising on a lot of draft boards and has seemingly jumped his Arizona teammate, Nico Mannion.

In some ways, Green is more of a scorer than a shooter. He’s an aggressive player who is a strong finisher around the basket, but sometimes his head-down-to-the-rim drives put him in compromising positions amongst tall defenders down low.

He’s not a bad shooter, by any means. He shot 36.1 percent from behind the arc this season for the Wildcats, yet his first instinct is to drive to the basket, as he only shot 2.8 3-point attempts per game. His overall field goal percentage was 42.4.

His aggressive nature translates to defense, as he copped 1.5 steals per game.

Green is another not-so-sexy pick and if the Phoenix Suns choose him at #10, you can’t help but wonder about proximity bias. However, he’s a solid player who will contribute modest scoring off the bench to whichever team picks him.
