Breaking down the Phoenix Suns Disney schedule
Phoenix Suns vs. Oklahoma City Thunder | August 10, 11:30 a.m. PST
Who is ready for some morning basketball? This game will tip-off at 2:30 p.m. Eastern, which makes it a pre-noon game locally in Arizona. It’s a good thing so many people will still be working from home at this point, or else they might not get to see many games live.
Chris Paul willed his team to victory the last time the Thunder played the Suns, so there is no doubt Devin Booker and company will be out for revenge. That is, of course, if the Suns are still in it.
This is where you might see younger players pick up the majority of the minutes if the Suns are mathematically eliminated.
Phoenix Suns vs. Philadelphia 76ers | August 11, 1:30 p.m. PST
This will the Suns’ first and only back in their bubble experience as this game against the 76ers will start just 24 hours after the conclusion of their game against the Thunder.
The Suns won their only other game against Philadelphia back in November in a game where Devin Booker put up a 40 spot. With no Kelly Oubre, he may have to put up similar heroics throughout the Suns’ eight-game campaign in order for them to have a chance.
That has been the Suns’ philosophy, in general, going into this bubble: So you’re saying there’s a chance.
