2. Gerald Green
Call me bias, but I’m a huge fan of Gerald Green’s game. You’re telling me there’s a guy who can jump out of the gym and has a career 3-point shooting percentage over 36 percent? I’m not sure how he has bounced around the league (and overseas) as much as he has.
Green was enjoying a decent role-player role with the Houston Rockets, averaging 9.2 points per game before injuring his foot this season, ultimately leading to the team waiving him.
There is a good chance that if he is fully healthy (and the rumors are that he is), the Rockets may have an interest in re-signing him, however, if not, Green would be a great veteran to come off the bench and provide dependable scoring for the Phoenix Suns.
Green last suited up in the orange and purple in the 2014-2015 season and is the fourth former player on this list. Green isn’t likely a long-term fix, but could definitely help the team for eight games in August.
