I have no idea where the nickname, “Big Sauce” came from but it uniquely belongs to Alan Williams. He also embraces it, as that is how he identifies himself on Twitter.

In all actuality, it is difficult to refer to Williams without reflectively blurting out, “Big Sauce!” right afterward. It’s fun, unique, creative, and really has all the makings of a strong nickname.
