#7 Phoenix Suns random moment: Eddie Johnson going on a rant about the mid-range jumper
If you watch a significant amount of Phoenix Suns games, Eddie Johnson’s rants are either something you love or hate.
Throughout the year, EJ made it his goal to take on all of the alleged robots, known as analytics, taking over basketball resulting in the death of the mid-range. These efforts increased as Devin Booker went on a scoring streak at the start of the new year, where he utilized a large number of mid-range jumpers.
Even if you do not agree with the actual basketball part of Johnson’s monologues, it is still possible to enjoy the experience, or at least appreciate the passion he brings, even if he is, at least according to the basketball robots, objectively wrong.
