4. Taylor Griffin #32

We stick with Stoudemire with the fourth-ranked player on this list. #32 was what he chose when he first came to the league and wore it for his first three seasons. Again, Amar’e isn’t in the Ring of Honor, and are the Suns really going to retire two numbers for one guy (he’s good but he’s not Kobe)?

Regardless, players haven’t been timid to bear that number since Stat. The most notable was Dr. Shaquille O’Neal when he played for the Suns, so maybe that fact alone makes it okay.

Four more players took those digits post-Stoudemire and Shaq. Three weren’t good: Brandan Wright, Davon Reed, and everyone’s favorite hatable Suns player, Jimmer Fredette. But the worst was another 10-day contract guy by the name of Taylor Griffin.

Yep, Blake’s brother.

Griffin played in just eight games for the Suns in the 2009-2010 season, where he scored a total of 10 points. Kind of like Gani Lawal, those would be the only minutes of his NBA career.
