Frank Kaminsky

Grade: Incomplete

Stats: 11 points, 4.9 rebounds per game (32 games played)

If I’m going to give Deandre Ayton an incomplete for only playing 30 games, it seems only right to give the same non-grade to Kaminsky considering he only played in 32.

Frank the Tank did a lot of good things for the Phoenix Suns this season (notwithstanding this charity Rise In Style look), but he also had stretches where he went ice cold. It all equaled about to right around his career average in most stat categories.

He did provide some good value that wasn’t fully appreciated until he went out with a fractured patella. After his unavailability started, the Suns plummeted to near dead last in the league in bench scoring.

It would have been great to see what he could have done with more games, but instead, he didn’t get a chance to even play in half of them, thus, the Incomplete.

I will, however, give him an A for this Stone Cold ending to his quarantine video. Respect.

It is unknown whether Kaminsky has played his last game in a Phoenix Suns jersey or not, considering the team has the option to bring him back for $5 million. However, unloading him might be necessary to clear room for a big-name free agent.
