Devin Booker can put up stats AND win games
Devin Booker might be the least respected player in the NBA. Not being named an All-Star at first was one of the worst decisions the NBA has made in a long time, but it is more than that.
Not many people across the nation watch the Phoenix Suns play and actually understand what has been going on for the past several years and what is currently happening in the Valley.
Devin Booker has been nothing but positive and encouraging during the worst span in the team’s history. He wants to win and he wants to do it here in Phoenix.
This season is a glimpse of what could eventually occur: Devin Booker can be the best player on a winning team with a big man who can dominate, a point guard that makes everyone around him better, a bundle of energy that can erupt at any time, and a defensive stopper in charge of guarding the other team’s best player. On top of that, add shooting and durability off the bench and a coach that wants to be here and has a philosophy for winning basketball.
In short, Devin Booker can put up stats AND win games, contrary to the undeserving stereotype that he puts up empty numbers.
