With the NBA season suspended due to COVID-19, the Phoenix Suns may have played their last game of the season. If so, what have we learned about this team?

The NBA announced it will be on a hiatus to figure out the best approach moving forward regarding the COVID-19 pandemic. The Phoenix Suns subsequently put out a statement on this unprecedented situation.

This has been a crazy year for the NBA. First, the tragic and sudden death of legend and superstar, Kobe Bryant, and now an epidemic so huge and ground-shaking that it has caused major sporting leagues around the world, including the NBA, to stop play.

There are many pressing questions and what-if possibilities regarding the rest of the NBA season and how it will transpire. When will games resume? Will fans be allowed in stadiums? How many games will be lost, if any? How does this affect the draft and the lottery? Will this affect playoff seeding? Will the MVP discussion change or remain the same? What if the NBA can not finish the season? Could there be no NBA playoffs at all?

You get the idea.

However, since no one can predict with any accuracy what will happen, let’s take the what-if scenario that the Phoenix Suns’ season is over.

If the season were to end, the Suns would have lost their last game of the year to the Trail Blazers and finished with a record of 26 wins and 39 losses. Assuming this truly was the final game of the Phoenix Suns’ 2019-2020 campaign, let’s dive into what fans may have learned from this season.
