Preview of the Phoenix Suns’ 2020 Draft: Picking every lottery pick
Pick #4: Anthony Edwards
Here, it has to be the best player on the board, Anthony Edwards. It does not matter the fit or playing time. If the Suns have this opportunity to get a player like this, they have to take advantage of that because this kid could be a star in the NBA.
He is averaging 18.9 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 2.9 assists for a bad Georgia Bulldogs team, but he looks the part. His body is NBA-ready, even though he is just a freshman, and his athleticism is off-the-charts.
He is a player that, although it might be tough to immediately play him over some guys currently on the roster, Monty Williams would have to find a way to get him minutes.
