Pick #1: LaMelo Ball

James Wiseman is the player with the highest ceiling, but the fit with Ayton could be disruptive. Lamelo Ball would address the Suns’ point guard needs, looking past Ricky Rubio, but there are a lot of questions surrounding his game. Moreover, the daunting fact that LaVar Ball would be a part of the organization.

Anthony Edwards, is the first one of these players that has played in more than three collegiate games, and although his team has struggled, he has been great all season. Arguably the most athletic of the three, Edwards has the most complete game in comparison with Wiseman and Ball.

The issue with Edwards is Devin Booker and Kelly Oubre. If the Suns decided to draft him, the situation would need to be addressed with how playing time would transpire.

With all that said, if the Suns are on the clock with the #1 overall pick, they should select LaMelo Ball from the Illawarra Hawks and not think twice about it.
