Preview of the Phoenix Suns’ 2020 Draft: Picking every lottery pick
Pick #9: Tyrese Haliburton
The next guard that should be taken is the sophomore, Tyrese Haliburton out of Iowa State. He suffered an injury that has him sidelined for the rest of the NCAA season, but when he was playing this year, he was very good. He has great size and length for a point guard and rebounds the ball very well which often leads to transition points.
His shooting form is not the prettiest in the world, which worries scouts, however, he can shoot it with some good range. In watching this kid play, he always seems in control and would be a good fit next to Booker and Oubre.
