Boston Celtics

Do you think that the Celtics would like Aron Baynes right about now?

I bet they do – especially as they are a team who could be sneaky  good come playoff time and make a real run at the Eastern Conference crown. Added depth with the story of bringing an old friend home would give them a boost in the nasty Eastern Conference.

James Jones should propose Baynes for Grant WIlliams and Brad Wanamaker and continued salary cap relief. With this deal, the Phoenix Suns would get power forward and backup point guard depth, while moving on from a player who never lived up to the hype of his first 11 games.

Granted Williams and Wanamaker are young and unaccomplished, they are better than who the roster in those positions at the moment, which should help the Suns down the stretch – while also both free agents after this season which will maintain the large cap space that James Jones has created.
