Brag, Baby, Brag

For both the franchise and the fan base, at that point, missing the playoffs would be that baby step that the franchise has been attempting to make for the last five years – particularly if they do not go on a long slide and finish way  out but rather miss it by only a couple of games showing legitimate growth.

Should the team get even better  next season (obviously dependent upon three factors of health, how Jones is able to improve the roster not only by the deadline but also over the summer, and Deandre Ayton‘s improvement in consistency), and should Booker put up even similar numbers to this season (this is year three of these stats so one would assume that he is going to be able to no problem), then there is little doubt that him making the All-Star team next month is the catalyst needed to break the seal, and make him a regular player in the mid-winter’s classic.

Next. The Phoenix Suns have more money in expiring contracts than you realized. dark

Devin Booker making the All-Star team this season is a badge of honor for Phoenix Suns fans and bragging rights over other players around the league – where is your  All-Star appearance, Donovan Mitchell??

Even if then the Phoenix Suns do not make the playoffs this year – which they certainly still could –  having Book in the All-Star Game on February 16, is a step in the right direction, potentially the last baby  step before taking the big one in 2020-21.
