More like Mikal Bridg3s, am I right?

After all that talk early in the season about Mikal Bridges‘ broken shot, that hitch in his windup, that 11% 3-point field goal percentage, look where he is now.

Bridges was unconscious Saturday night from behind the arc, drilling a career-high six out of his eight attempts from behind the line in his second start in a row, taking the injured Oubre’s place.

Devin Booker’s TD Garden appreciation must have rubbed off on the defensive specialist because the basket looked like it couldn’t get any bigger.

Bridges finished with a season-high 26 points to go along this customary two steals and two blocks.

He will most certainly take his place back on the bench when Kelly Oubre returns to action, but it is good to see him get some confidence. After each 3 late in the game, the smile on his face lit up the garden as much his shot did. Good for him. For a guy who always plays better than his numbers, it was great to see him mix in some numbers too.
