For the first time in years, the Suns’ front office and coaching staff are filled with capable people who understand roster construction and team synergy. Indications are that Monty Williams and James Jones work well together and had a good first offseason of moves despite the many skeptics.

Monty seems to have the players’ ears, as as can be seen in this early season article by Marc J Spears from The Undefeated. He also has the pedigree of working with young stars like Anthony Davis.

More roster moves are on the way and time will tell, but there seems to be good reason to believe in this front office.

And if you’re concerned about Robert Sarver interfering, there is valid reason to have that concern. However, he does seem to be further from the action than he has been in the past.
