This Team is Very Young

One reason to stay excited for this team is their youth. Keep in mind this is the youngest team in the NBA with players averaging 24.8 years year of age. They are also the second-to-last team in terms of experience with its players averaging a mere 2.8 years in the league.

Veteran, quality NBA teams (or the players on them) generally learn how to win from losing. I don’t recall a young NBA team ever winning a championship without first learning to win tight games and sustain a level of quality play through an entire 82 game season and playoffs.

The Suns have some quality wins and some lesson losses through first 38 games of the season. The NBA is a tough league that teams must learn to navigate. Lessons in execution come from wins and losses.

Fans, be patient and recognize this team is finally ‘in school’ and on their way to upward movement.
