Booker is an All Star
At this point, whoever thinks Devin Booker is not an All Star should be excommunicated from civil society and banished to a remote island where they can wallow in their own hate-filled misery forever.
Booker leads the NBA in scoring since Christmas with 33.4 points per game.
Friday night was the first time in eight games he scored less than 30. How did he break this streak? By dropping two final-minute 3-pointers to give his team the win, that’s all.
Yet somehow, because the world is cruel and full of ignoramuses (and unfortunately a ton of Los Angeles Lakers fans) Alex Caruso is still beating Devin Booker in All Star voting.
And if you need more proof the world has lost its collective minds, Tacko Fall is still beating both of them.
The league needs to wise up and put this man in an All Star jersey this season, but I’m sure Booker would be the first person to tell you he’d rather win more than anything else.
Hopefully this win will catapult the Phoenix Suns into a winning streak.
Their upcoming games are against sub par teams like the Charlotte Hornets, Atlanta Hawks, and New York Knicks. If they win those, then Devin Booker will have his first four-game win streak of his NBA career and more impressively, I will have predicted the Suns’ record correctly when they were on the precipice of this easier stretch of the schedule.
So, what I’m really trying to say is, clearly I should be an All Star too. Vote for me. It makes about as much sense as voting for Tacko Fall.
