Just get it done already, Suns

While the Phoenix Suns have not yet been publicly mentioned in the potential acquisition of Karl-Anthony Towns, and the Golden State Warriors as potential suitors has come as a surprise, it by no means means that Devin Booker and Towns cannot be playing side-by-side in Phoenix at some point in the near future.

There too is no way of knowing where the rumor originated that RealGM tweeted, and thus whether or not the Warriors actually do have real interest in acquiring Towns, or if other camps are just using Golden State as a means of forcing a trade elsewhere.

Executives are constantly attempting to leverage what they have or want into getting the best deal possible for themselves, and for Minnesota, it would make a lot of sense that they would want to put the fear of God into teams (specifically Phoenix) by noting that Golden State is a potential option for them because of Towns’ connection to Russell.

The same can be said for Devin Booker and his camp if he does not want to be traded but is dying to have fun again playing basketball for the Suns, and wants to play with one of his two best friends.

Phoenix Suns fans should be worried that the Warriors might have interest in acquiring Karl-Anthony Towns; that he could be paired up with D’Angelo Russell; and that such a pairing could mean the end to Devin Booker in the Valley.

But they could also look at the rumor with the promise that it might  just be the push that James Jones and Robert Sarver need, to get a deal done for the superstar, and two-time all-star center.
