#3: Two Big Upset Wins

During the Phoenix Suns dreadful 2018-2019 season that saw a franchise-worst 17 game losing streak, there were a couple bright spots.

In fact, immediately after their record-breaking string of losses, they won five of their next seven, including two shocking victories over the Golden State Warriors and the Milwaukee Bucks. Both teams were powerhouses all year and, somehow, the lowly Phoenix Suns beat them.

These wins made you wonder, “How did this team lose 17 games in a row?”

Against the Bucks, Booker, Oubre, Ayton, and Tyler Johnson led the way with Bridges coming off the bench and playing 34 minutes. It wasn’t a fluke either. Giannis played. Bledsoe played. All the Bucks’ stars played. They just lost.

Then, just few days later, the Suns beat the mighty Warriors on their home court. Devin Booker had a huge game, putting in 37 points and dishing out 11 assists, but just like the win over Milwaukee, this was no fluke either. Steph, KD, Klay, Drayond, and Boogie played for Golden State and just lost.

The Suns came back down to Earth of that, going 3-10 to finish out the year, but for a couple glorious games, the Phoenix Suns looked legit. It was fun.
