Every year has its ups and downs. For the Phoenix Suns, there were plenty of downs. Here are the five most embarrassing moments of the year.

The Phoenix Suns will not reflect upon 2019 with a twinkle in their eye. It will be more like a gnat that got stuck in there and won’t go away and just when they think it’s out they realize that not only is it not out, but there is a gnat in their other eye too.

2019 was that bad.

While some of these low moments were self-induced, others were just bad timing or bad luck. The Suns really can’t seem to catch a break as of late, and looking back over the entire year, this is not a super recent trend.

While it might be frustrating to revisit the most embarrassing parts of the year, the only way to get better is to learn from prior mistakes, and in order to do so, you have to examine those low points.

There were plenty to choose from, but these five stuck out as the most demoralizing or frustrating points in the year. And while some might not have been objectively embarrassing, they created a swirl of bad press that stuck with the Suns for a full news cycle.

Coming off a miserable 19 win season, the Suns need all the positive vibes they could get, and when your organization or players get trashed on ESPN or national blogs, it’s not a good look.
