3. Tyler Ennis – WS 0.0 (-0.005)
Drafted 18th overall in 2014
Considered to potentially be the point guard of the future, Tyler Ennis flipped back-and-fourth between the D-League a number of times in the first few months of his career, never really getting a foot-hold on the big league roster, but never really impressing much either.
He would actually only appear in eight games for the Phoenix Suns before he was traded to the Milwaukee Bucks on one of Ryan McDonough’s three three-team deadline deals, his being the one that brought to the Valley Brandon Knight.
That said, while he was here, he really just wasn’t that good. He scored in double-figures just once, his high in assists was only 3, he shot a paltry 27.9% from beyond the arc, and he did not record a single steal.
To make matters worse, Rodney Hood was taken five picks later, Clint Capela was taken seven picks later, Spencer Dinwiddie was taken 20 picks later, and Nikola Jokic was taken 23 picks later.
Now Ennis is already out of the league, and the potential franchise point guard went for naught.
