Aggressive Kelly Oubre is the best Kelly Oubre

There are many different flavors of Kelly Oubre Jr. You have swaggy Kelly Oubre. Stylish Kelly Oubre. Trash-talking Kelly Oubre. And you always get energetic Kelly Oubre.

But the version of himself that, when he flips that switch, makes him one of the best impressive players in the league, is aggressive Kelly Oubre.

Kelly has excelled this season when he has driven the ball with authority to the rim, tucked it like a football as he gets into the paint, and finished through contact.

But after sending down a thunderous slam in the Trail Blazers game, Tsunami Papi absolutely posterized Paul George.

And if you liked his four-point play against those aforementioned Trail Blazers, he followed it up with a five point possession against the Clippers after missing the free throw on an and-one and subsequently draining a 3 after an offensive rebound.

His assertive play paid off on defense too, as he led the team with three steals and two blocks. It can get crowded out there when (or should I say if) all of the Suns players are on the court at the same time, but that kind of aggression will produce no matter who else needs the ball.
