Ayton’s suspension is more than halfway over

Having served 16 games of his 25 game suspension, the Bahamian big man only has nine more games in which to stay sidelined before making his much needed return.

At first, the Suns were cruising to victories without their prized center. However, with Aron Baynes out with his own issues, the Suns are left without a true center.

Cameron Johnson and Dario Saric are stretch-4s, who like to spend most of their time behind the arc, while Frank Kaminky is really a streth-4 in a center’s body.

They make an active attempt to take advantage of their size at times, but there is no one on the team who can match up against the tall, lanky centers of the NBA.

Ayton’s return is still 9 games away, but thankfully, he should be ready to come back stronger than ever.
