Overall

So, would you do it? Would you swap the enter Phoenix Suns’ roster for the entire Sacramento Kings’?

Obviously the homer in me says absolutely not. Devin Booker is too close to potentially becoming a superstar, Deandre Ayton should be a legitimate power in the post for many years to come, and the excitement that Kelly Oubre and Mikal Bridges brings is something intrinsically that cannot be replaced.

However, in today’s NBA, point guard is arguably the most important position on the court and the Kings have a very  good one in De’Aaron Fox, plus they have a fantastic outside shooting shooting guard in Buddy Hield, and a potential power at power forward in Marvin Bagley.

Do not forget Harison Barnes at small forward and the Sacramento Kings’ roster is a very nice one no doubt.

But whereas the Kings are ostensibly a full season ahead of where the Suns are in each of their respective rebuilding phases, Phoenix might already be right on their tails after only one offseason under James Jones.

Let’s say that the Suns finish behind the Kings this season, but within only five games or less. Would there be any hesitation if asked if you would swap the entire Suns roster for the entire Kings’?

Next. Is 26.5 wins to high or low for the Phoenix Suns?. dark

I would say so – and in truth (and maybe this is just the homer in me) I think that by the end of 2019-20, Sacramento Kings fans will actually wish to swap entire rosters with the Phoenix Suns, if they don’t already.
