April

Wednesday. April 1 at Oklahoma City Thunder

Is it crazy to say that the Thunder will be fighting for a playoff spot? They have a lot of good pieces. If Chris Paul can be healthy enough late in the year, they can maybe make a late playoff push. The Suns coming to town will help them get there. The Thunder win this game. (28-47)

Friday. April 3 Cleveland Cavaliers

Nothing will change my mind in five days unless LeBron returns to Cleveland. Suns win. (29-47)

Sunday. April 5 Chicago Bulls

The Suns will win back-to-back games for the first time since the All-Star break as they dominate the Bulls. This will be a game where many people ask: how has this team not won more games? (29-48)

Tuesday. April 7 at Minnesota Timberwolves

A name that has not been mentioned yet, Dario Saric. He will be back in Minnesota and torch his old team. The average fan will be able to see how much better the Phoenix Suns are than the Timberwolves. (30-48)

Thursday. April 9 at New Orleans Pelicans

Many people have thought that the Pelicans could make the playoffs this year! I personally disagree, but if I am wrong, this game will be imperative for them. In a world where the Suns are very very bad (which I do not think will happen) we could be in Tank Town. Regardless, I think the Pelicans win. (30-49)

Saturday. April 11 Utah Jazz

The Suns have a tough three game stretch to end the season. The Jazz will have performed like many people have thought and have had a good regular season. The Jazz will have owned the Suns this year and win this game, but that does not mean Donovan Mitchell is better than Devin Booker. (30-50)

Monday. April 13 at Houston Rockets

This point in the season, the world will know if the Harden-Westbrook scenario will have worked out. I find it hard for it to now work, and the Rockets will be heading into the playoffs with the championship in mind. By the way, they will beat the Suns. (30-51)

Wednesday. April 15 L.A. Lakers

The final game of the year will be a toss-up. Who knows where the Lakers will be in the playoff picture, who knows if LeBron will be playing. What the hell, give it to the Suns. After the game, LeBron will give praise to Booker and Ayton, and tell the league to be aware…(31-51)

As a fan, you want your team to win every game but the fact is that no team will go undefeated and no team will lose every game.

The Phoenix Suns have yet to win 30 games in a season in four seasons straight. The team’s expectations are varied: some expect them to take a huge step forward and think they can compete for the eighth seed.

To those, I say you are crazy.

There are others where they envision the team to end up no better than last year and win less than 25 games and be the laughing stock of the NBA once again.

Most believe, however, that the Suns will fall somewhere in the middle. Phoenix will look like a complete basketball team with a true point guard in Ricky Rubio.

Like I said earlier, the NBA is a wild league, most nights the more talented team will win the game. However, there will be nights where teams do not have it, stars will rest, players will be hurt, and the teams where normally do not have a chance will surprise a lot of people and win a game they should not win.

Players too will get traded, coaches will get fired, injuries will occur and so much more could happen.

I am hoping the Suns remain healthy; Booker takes the next step to stardom; Ayton becomes a household big man; the Suns compete every single night; they become fun to watch and cheer for.

The moment you all have been waiting for, according to my analysis, the Suns will win 30 games and lose 52 games this year

If I were a betting man I would be taking the over of 26.5 wins. The NBA season can not come soon enough, and the Suns rebranding will really start this year, and I am excited to see what happens this year.
