December

Monday. December 2 at Charlotte Hornets

The first game of December will be a win. This is the most confident I have felt about a game thus far. The Suns better win this game. (10-9)

Wednesday. December 4 at Orlando Magic

The second game of this road trip will be a loss, however, “this could be another ‘Booker for 50 and they lost’ game.” (10-10)

Thursday. December 5 at New Orleans Pelicans

“At this point in the Big Easy,” Zion will have taken over as the second most beloved athlete there, behind Drew Brees. He will show us that the lottery system screwed the Suns over and have an amazing game, and Phoenix will fall short. Again, would not be surprised by a “Booker gets 50 and they lost.” (10-11)

Saturday. December 7 at Houston Rockets

Phoenix Suns

I am one of the few that think the James Harden and Russell Westbrook combo will really work! They have a chance at accomplishing a lot of things and one of them is beating the Suns on December 7. (10-12)

Monday. December 9 Minnesota Timberwolves

The start of a four-game home stand will result in a victory. Deandre Ayton will have the best game of his season thus far or at least showing the most growth and progress. (11-12)

Wednesday. December 11 Memphis Grizzlies

Ja returns, but no one can guard Booker. He starts one of his tears of the year, making his case for being an All-Star. (12-12)

Saturday. December 14 San Antonio Spurs (in Mexico City)

Mexico City welcomes back Devin Booker. These games are more about the growth of the NBA and at the international level. The Suns will struggle outside of the country, but Booker shines again in Mexico City. I am sad to say but, this will be the start of a losing streak. (12-13)

Monday. December 16 Portland Trailblazers

Coming back from Mexico City, the Suns will host Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum. Devin Booker and Kelly Oubre will do their best Lillard and McCollum impression. However, it will not be enough. (12-14)

Tuesday. December 17 at L.A. Clippers

The second night of a back-to-back against a title contender will be a tough one. Kawhi or George will most likely be sidelined due to load management, but either way the Suns will fall short. (12-15)

Friday. December 20 at Oklahoma City Thunder.

Chris Paul will be on the sideline or on another team, however, the Thunder still have some really good NBA players. Danilo Gallenari and Steven Adams will have big nights resulting in a win. (12-16)

Saturday. December 21 Houston Rockets

The Rockets come to town and will leave with another win. However, PJ Tucker and Mikal Bridges begin to look very similar, and Mikal is only 22. (12-17)

Monday. December 23 Denver Nuggets

The third game against the Nuggets will result in the same way as the prior two. Jokic is too good, and Jamal Murray plays too well – although not as well as Booker. Nonetheless, Murray and his team leave with a win and giving the Suns a tough losing streak heading into Christmas. (12-18)

Friday. December 27 at Golden State Warriors

At this point, I am hoping D’Angelo Russell is not really fitting in Golden State and eventually comes to the Valley. Regardless, Steph Curry is incredible in front of his home crowd, as the Suns lose a heart-breaker. (12-19)

Saturday. December 28 at Sacramento Kings

Another tough game to pick because both teams are so young and talented. The Kings will win this game because the Suns are on a back-to-back and play sluggish. (12-20)

Monday. December 30 at Portland Trailblazers

The losing streak continues as the Suns are struggling and really need a win. However, they will have a hard time defending Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum which results in a Suns loss. (12-21)
