Central Division

Indiana Pacers

The Suns lost to the Pacers in late November by five, but were then blown out by 35 less than two months later.

Phoenix has also only defeated Indiana once in the last four seasons.

But again: this is not the same Suns team that has been trolling the basement of the league for the majority of the last decade, so can they actually steal a game from one of the East’s elite teams?

Yes. I believe that this time they can.

Yes the Pacers are going to get back Victor Oladipo and they have the aforementioned addition of Malcolm Brogdon, but they also lost Tyreke Evans, Thaddeus Young, Bojan Bogdanovic, Wesley Matthews, and Kyle O’Quinn thus far – that is a lot of turnover for a team that was just a healthy Oladipo from potentially making a deep playoff run last season.

While I would like to think that the Suns are actually going to be good enough to sweep the Pacers, I can’t imagine that would be a thing as it is more likely that Indiana sweeps Phoenix than the other way around.

However, I’ll take Ricky Rubio, Devin Booker, and Deandre Ayton over Brogdon, Oladipo and Myles Turner at least once this season, so give me a series split.

Prediction: 1-1.
