The Negatives

While aggressiveness and explosiveness are typically seen as positives in the evaluation of a draft prospect, White has a little sprinkle of Russell Westbrook tunnel vision in his game.

At times he plays too fast for his own good, occasionally forcing ill-advised shots and getting sloppy with the ball in traffic.

Improving his efficiency will be at the forefront of his development after coughing up the ball to the tune of 2.7 turnovers per game last season.

White recorded a disappointing 6’5’’ wingspan at the NBA combine, spawning concerns about his ability to finish at the rack against lengthy rim protectors.

Although he has shown the ability to make tough contested layups in college, the size and length waiting for him at the next level is a whole different beast. He will be forced to get creative by developing a reliable floater to combat his lack of athleticism and leaping ability in the paint.
