Scouting Report. Cameron Johnson. player. 93. Pick Analysis. Small Forward. North Carolina. 24

What do you get the team who has it all?  You get them another shooter off the bench.  They had exactly what they needed last year when they drafted Bridges and then they made what turned out to be an over-sized mistake by trading him to Phoenix.  Hopefully for the 76ers they can keep the band together and right the mistake by bringing in Johnson who gives you that same kind of elite 3 and D play.  Cameron is an old man at 23, but he’s exactly what this team needs right now.

23. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Center. 118. Arkansas. Daniel Gafford. player

If Gafford would have come out last year I think he would have been a late lottery pick. Going back to school really hut his stock even though he put up 20 and 11 with 2.5 blocks.  If I was the Jazz, I’d be looking to trade away Favors and try to gain additional talent on the wings.  Picking Gafford would give them the flexibility to do that and still keep the size and skill coming in off the bench.

Center. Montenegro. 18. Pick Analysis. Goga Bitadze. 22. player. Scouting Report

This should be part of the kings ransom that the Pelicans demand, but if it’s not the Celtics should take a swing at someone like Bitadze.  They thought (and so did I) that Robert Williams would be one of the great steals of the draft last year.  Alas, you can’t win em all.  Goga has a nice ability to stretch the floor and is a brick of a human being down locks.  He uses long arms to rack up blocks.  That combination could end up being a big upgrade over Aaron Baynes over time.  It’s no Anthony Davis, but it’s not a bad option if they can’t get new Orleans to make a deal.
