From a design perspective, it always just seemed so lazy to me to take a regularly worn jersey and add the word LOS to it to celebrate Latin fans. At least the Chinese uniforms that some teams wear have Chinese symbols that make their uni’s look entirely interesting. I’ve never understood how “Los” somehow made a deep connection with anyone.

But to the jersey itself, sure, the normal purple road jerseys of this iteration said PHOENIX and not SUNS (which I’ll get to in a moment) and so presenting SUNS instead actually doesn’t look all that bad. It’s just that when you throw a LOS on an already cluttered jersey, it makes it look even worse.

Somehow whenever I would see this uniform my mind went to the 90’s “the more you know” PSA.

On a jersey though, it is a very noisy look.
