These are hands down, the coolest All-Star uniforms ever worn.

I thought this back in 1995, and I stand by that opinion now.

The color purple is an extremely underrated color for sports fashion and proof is that are these 1995 All-Star uniforms that pull it off – and then some.

The beauty of these is the subtle black and green added to the look. The purple unis are, purple. The whites are white.  And while the entire front of the jersey top is full, the look is still well balanced and fashionable.

The Aztec (just my guess) side pattern which stripes from the armpit to the base of the shorts tie to the two half’s together, while the shorts don’t do anything flashy to otherwise be a visual nuisance.

And again, I direct your attention to the green.

While that color dominated  the Rookie Challenge jersey’s that same weekend, the subtle accent of color in the band around the arm and neck holes, as well as the cartoon cactus on the chest, makes an otherwise potentially obtrusive color pop out like a friend poking their head out above a crowd.
