Over their now 50 seasons in the NBA, the Phoenix Suns have gone through four distinct visual transitions, implementing five total, separate looks.

*Note – Updated to include 2018-19 uniforms.

Originating in 1968 with the standard PHOENIX across their chest and a sunburst on the side of each leg of their shorts, save for one font change in 1973, that look remained wholly intact until 1992, and the beginning of the franchise’s 25th season in existence.

Since then, the team has re-designed their appearance now once every seven to eight seasons, twice with entirely unique and independent appearances from those uniforms of the past, and twice now with a distinct nod to their history.

Beginning with their original conception, they have further added secondary uniforms that are on occasion entirely different from their standard appearance at that time. As such, the uniform closet is beginning to fill as they have worn no fewer than 24  individual uniforms including both home and away, as well as alternates and celebratory.

This is a ranking of every Jersey the Suns have ever worn in their history – as well as the uniforms worn for the three All-Star games held in Phoenix as well, which is actually where this ranking begins.
