Release Full Officiating Reports

The NBA could shine even more light into the discussion by grading out every play of every game and releasing those reports with the corresponding clips to the public. Every game should be graded on the percentage of correct calls. Every official should have an ongoing score for that percentage.

The media can then grade out how well the NBA is grading officials.  The officials can then have full viability and accountability into their own performance.

For fans, if you’ve got an official who gets 99% of their calls right, it will almost certainly make it easier to forgive the 1% they get wrong. Even if it is in a critical moment.

This level of accountability and transparency will give everyone the right incentive to get calls right every time.
