The Phoenix Suns leaked city uniforms are disappointing

The Phoenix Suns 2018-19 city uniforms have leaked online. They’re a major disappointment and missed opportunity for a unique design.

Only the jersey was leaked, so we’re still not sure what the shorts look like. But the jersey is really dull. It says “Los Suns” like last year’s jersey, and an orange border has been added around the perimeter. The new PayPal patch isn’t present on the leaked jersey.
The number is off center, and the Suns logo is absent. There aren’t any other distinguishing features of the jersey, which is disappointing. The city uniform is a great chance to get creative and make a uniform that (metaphorically) has Phoenix written all over it. This jersey isn’t that.
That same link leads to a really unique Milwaukee Bucks city uniform that looks nothing like their normal jerseys. They’re red in the corner, partly light yellow and partly dark yellow with green font and “Bucks” written vertically to the right of the number. They’re really neat.
The Philadelphia 76ers officially released their city uniforms, which you can check out here. They’re not very good, and they’re essentially an advertisement for Creed II, but at least they look different than their regular jersey.
The Brooklyn Nets put out a city jersey with colorful trim, paying homage to the Coogi sweaters that Biggie used to wear. The New York Knicks jerseys have neat looking stripes along the border. The Oklahoma City Thunder went with a light blue uniform and boxy letters that’s ugly but still better than what they usually wear.

The Phoenix Suns new city uniforms are just bad. They’re similar to their normal jerseys, and there’s still no sun burst. The colors are the same. There’s nothing on there unique to the city, as even the “Los” has been found on plenty of other teams’ jerseys. Hopefully these leaked jerseys aren’t the real city uniforms, but that seems pretty unlikely.
