Golden State Warriors

The Phoenix Suns should trade for Stephen Curry.

I’m sorry, I had to.

And let’s be honest with ourselves: even if you offered both Devin Booker and Deandre Ayton Golden State wouldn’t accept the offer. The AI wouldn’t even accept such a trade on NBA2K.

With the Golden State Warriors on their way to a third straight title, they aren’t going to trade anybody that fits into their system perfectly so even making an offer for Shaun Livingston would be hung up on (unless the Suns offered Devin Booker and/or Deandre Ayton, that is).

Quinn Cook is literally the only guard on the roster Golden State might  listen to a trade offer for. The problem though is that Cook isn’t really a starter in the NBA so there is no guarantee that he is better than Isaiah Canaan or Elie Okobo at this point.

Could he help Phoenix? Sure, if they cut Canaan.

But would he make the Suns a better team and help them compete?

No.
