Indiana Pacers

The Pacers are another team with a lot of point guard depth who might be willing to make a move to help with depth elsewhere.

The point guard I wanted the Suns to target most this offseason was Tyreke Evans, and they failed me. And themselves. Evans would have made the Suns a better team right away with his combination of shooting, defense, and passing ability.

For the Pacers though, Evans has been playing really well off the bench and Indiana is a force in the Eastern Conference so making a move that hurts their depth in anyway might be difficult to make.

Darren Collison is their starter but has only been averaging 23.4 minutes per game. Might they be willing to trade him in favor of Evans and another point guard such as Isaiah Canaan to keep depth while Moving Evans to the starter’s role and make Canaan their primary reserve?

A player that I would have most interest in would be Aaron Holiday.

None of those three mentioned would be worth either Josh Jackson or T.J. Warren, although I could trade a protected first round pick and/or Mikal Bridges.

It would be interesting if Phoenix acquired Holiday much like Joe Johnson back in 2002. My biggest problem with Holiday though is his size (he is only 6’1″) so that alone would make me want to offer as little as possible.
