Toronto Raptors

There is nobody on the Toronto Raptors that the Suns could or should trade for.

Obviously their best point guard is Kyle Lowry, but with Toronto making a push for a championship this season following their acquisition of Kawhi Leonard, I don’t even think that an offer of Devin Booker would make a Lowry trade work.

I have personally long been anti-Lowry only from the perspective that he is too personal-stats-centric, much like Eric Bledose and Kemba Walker, and I just do not see those types of players winning titles.

Heck, they generally don’t even make it to the Finals.

So that out of the way, maybe bring back Lorenzo Brown?

Bring back, you might ask?

Who?

Well, I’m not going to lie to you: I had (and have) completely forgotten the Lorenzo Brown era of Phoenix Suns basketball and only in this research did I even realize that he was a Sun for eight games in 2015-16 (boy, was that a bad year…)

I am not being serious about re-acquiring him though and have zero interest in any attempt. He is a two-way player for the Suns at best and since he is 28-years-old I would rather make sure that De’Anthony Melton eventually gets a shot rather than acquire Brown and re-live his glory days.

In short, like I said before: Toronto has nothing to offer at point guard.
