Rumors: How the Phoenix Suns can acquire an Atlantic Division starting point guard
By Adam Maynes

There is probably no other named point guard that Phoenix Suns fans want more than Terry Rozier, a capable point guard who would be a huge starting upgrade for the Suns immediately upon his arrival.
Rozier is more of a scoring point guard rather than a passing one (8.7 points off the bench to 2.2 assists), but in a system where he would be forced to dish the ball to shooters, his assist numbers would all but certainly be at acceptable rates.
“Scary Terry” would also come to Phoenix with the perfect combination of age and experience.
At only 24-years-old, Rozier would fit the mold of the young Suns and could grow with guys like Devin Booker and Deandre Ayton potentially becoming that core piece for many years to come. He to is currently in his fourth season (the same as Devin Booker), only his four seasons have come on great Boston teams.
He knows both winning and how to win.
The Problem though is that Boston is in the hunt for a championship and since Kyrie Irving is about to hit unrestricted free agency (although he did intimate that he does want to return), holding onto Rozier through the end of this season when he becomes a restricted free agent is probably their plan.
If the Suns really wanted him they could over pay and offer a package of picks, a veteran, and a young player (probably not named Dragan Bender), but it would be a tough sell to Suns fans.
Personally, I am afraid that he is too scoring-centric which might hurt the offense anyway as his desire might be to take shots away from Devin Booker, and any point guard that does that, should not be a target of James Jones.
